Gopher Pilot Yegor Rybachenok First Solo
CFI Chris Sherman has advised me of some great news as Gopher member Yegor Rybachenok achieved his first solo Friday October 2nd at KMIC. Making the most of a beautiful morning, Yegor soloed and was able to enjoy the added aircraft performance without an instructor! Congratulations Yegor on an exciting milestone!
Gopher Member Greg Erickson passed his initial CFI Checkride

Gopher Pilot Brian Murphy First Solo
Gopher member Brian Murphy achieved his first solo Tuesday June 23rd at KMIC. After waiting out a brief storm Brian completed the circuit at an uncontrolled Crystal pattern while successfully greasing three landings. Upon completion of the flight Brian mentioned “The plane flies much easier without the instructor” ! Congratulations Brian on an exciting accomplishment!
Another new Instrument Pilot at Gopher
CFI Chris Sherman has advised me today it was a beautiful day for an instrument checkride in Cumberland, WI. Gopher member Luke Timper achieved his instrument rating with DPE Sandi Randall! Congratulations Luke as all your hard work was rewarded, enjoy the ticket!
