New Private Pilot at Gopher Flying Club
CFI Greg Erickson advises that Adam Lecy successfully completed his Private Pilot Check ride on Friday, 12/1/23 with DPE George Felix. Adam was able to get this done in just nine months from joining.

Gopher Flying Club has a new CFI
CFI George Felix has advised that club member Tom Baker who have been a member at Gopher since his student pilot certificate has earned his CFI on his first attempt. Join me in Congratulating Tom on an excellent performance. Brian Addis FAA Designated Pilot Examiner was Tom’s evaluator.

Gopher Flying club held our plane wash on 10/02/2021 and enjoyed some great cooking thanks to George. A big thank you to the members for giving these birds their last bath of 2021!

Gopher Pilot Yegor Rybachenok First Solo
CFI Chris Sherman has advised me of some great news as Gopher member Yegor Rybachenok achieved his first solo Friday October 2nd at KMIC. Making the most of a beautiful morning, Yegor soloed and was able to enjoy the added aircraft performance without an instructor! Congratulations Yegor on an exciting milestone!
